TAW03-2 - Rehabilitation Aids : Walking AidsThe adjust device of this product has got patent in Taiwan, Republic of China, and will apply patent in USA and Japan. Meanwhile, TAW-03 conforms to ISO11199-1：1999 which conducted by SGS. The functions and features are as follows:
Function 1: Climb Up and Down the stairs.
When climbing up and down the stairs, standard walker provide only two support points, it is easy to make user fall down and injure under the forces applied unsteadily.
Standard walker has only two front bars (red circles) to support the user's weight when climb up stairs. (Left photo was the side view, right photo was the upper view.)
TAW-03 uses the front and rear 4 points by adjusting the height of legs synchronously to fit the size of stairs, and increase the supportability and stability of climbing up and down stairs, to prevent any falling down and injured by users.
Function 2: Can be used for slope terrain.
47% was Stick and walker category of the mobile assistive devices in the country, but the rate of fallen down and injured was 46.5%, which means most of the mobile assistive devices in the market are designed to be comfortable and easy to use without considering the dignity of the user or their enjoyment. so the rate was high. Standard walker when used on the slope terrain, user needs to be forward and backward to gain the body stability, which causes inconvenient and unpredictable accident.
Adjust synchronously the height of TAW-03 front and rear to fit the requirement of slope from low to high when walking.
